Not a bad episode... can't wait to see what they reveal in the final two.

There was an interesting note in Entertainment Weekly's wrap up of the finale that said that Ben appeared in the desert 10 months later and maybe the island reappeared then too (who knows what location). So i looked at the post-rescue timeline and realized that there was a year and 9 months between Locke becoming the Other's leader and Locke dying (allegedly of a suicide). It'll be interesting to see how the writers cover that timespan (if time moved at the same pace) in only two more seasons.
Which leads me to agree with Jaline that i'm really glad there's an end date that i can say "By May of 2010, i won't have to obsess about this shit anymore"

Makes me wonder if the whole island is separated from the rest of the world by time or what...
I NEED ANSWERS DAMMIT

Hey, I'm not saying I want simple violence there, only that the episode almost didn't have that factor that makes a story believable. It reminded me of this classic cliche of a poisoned man who needs an antidote in 23654 seconds because according to a scientist's calculations in 23655 he'll die.
Minkowski just died from lack of constant, I'll get one and will survive.. Sayid will macgyver me a phone with a minute of batteries.. I know it's tv, but come on!
Time travelling - ok, but why that complicated? Body heals, womb ages, smoke corrects, Walt is an exception.. It just seems to have too many patches for me :)

Here's the video that was downloaded via blutooth at ComicCon from the Octagon Global Recruiting booth (the new Alternate Reality Game connected to Lost). You may want to mute your speakers cause all you can hear is the noise from the convention floor
And here's a page with screencaps from the video

which episode ?

I agree, mg. Even though Ben is probably right about Whitmore (or however you spell it), he is always after his own agenda. And that bullshit about "already" telling Locke everything he knows was a total lie, obviously. I'm sure he has a lot more secrets hiding...otherwise the show wouldn't work.

the black dude is part of the Dharma Initiative. He was the same one who visited Hurley in the hospital.

I agree about the Sayid thing but this is not the first episode for something like that to occur. I think it's better when I don't look into every little mistake of the show, as there I am hoping that many of the larger issues will be explained in some way eventually. Hopefully in a way that makes some sense. And yes, you can make time travel make sense, even if it is complicated ;)

What episode is everyone outside the UK up to? Tonight we have Season 4, episode 7 (the penultimate episode of the first half of the fourth season).

LOST is actually turning into a comedy for me, Episode 5 had me laughing my bloody head off watching peg leg try and turn of the Time Warp steering Ship wheel, right so that what controls time, hahahahaha, fucking hilarious.
- no, that's what controls the flow of the energy. the energy controls time. get it right, lol.anxious_arms
- Wheel of time, perfectly logicalukit
- Same bloody thing, what you on about. Energy Time. hahahahroundabout
- hahah "get it right"juhls

i imagine it's difficult to live up to the hype that builds around a show like this. If they hadn't already had an ending (i think even from when it first began), all the buzz around this show would surely corrupt it. But invariably, it's not gonna fly with some portion of the fan base. And with some it will. And that will be the beginning of our nation's next Civil War
- So be it then *sharpens pitchfork*ukit
- *fixes Civil War souvenier cap at a jaunty angle.harlequino

I'm not totally understanding what you mean by this. Maybe it's just me, but (to me) it seems that "Lost" isn't exactly a show that makes sense all the time and doesn't always have believable storylines. They are so good at writing and acting that it makes you want to believe it.

Apparently Michael and Walt will be returning in the next one.
