There are some issues that come up once in a while. The biggest thing is Airport and/or Azureus. I know others have had issues with the two together. Azureus crashes every once in a while, so I hope the creators update their software soon.
Otherwise Leopard is pretty good, but I had to modify various things right after I installed it months ago (like the dock, the bar at the top, etc.)

i had a few problems with leopard 2 start, but i downloaded the updates, and they run smoothly now, with no crashing

I have yet to have any issues with Leopard (knocks on wood) and I've had it since launch day. But I also do a fresh install after backing up with each major OS upgrade. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but it's been the case for me since OS 10.1. Always perfectly smooth, trouble free productivity. </bragging>

YAYPaul, I use Transmission too but there are many sites that do not accept it as a client (like torrent sites you have to be a member of before getting access). It's not widely accepted like Azureus is.

the air port is all f***ed up with leopard. It kicks off every so many minutes. Quite annoying.

There is an update due very soon – any day now in fact – that will hopefully sort out most (all?) of the problems.
It's gonna weigh in at like 400mb so it's gotta do something...

i will bet 99% of these issues would be resolved w/ a clean wipe of the drive, writing binary to the drive, then clean install of OS and apps. SO many times upon an 'upgrade' to the OS is major release, it was wak permissions from whatever bum apps you had on the drive from LAST OS that cause the problems after the upgrade.
wipe that bitch and start again. your machine will love you for it.

have they cleaned up the issues with CS3 apps yet? do you still have to update from adobe after installing leopard?

I'm running it on a brand spankin new 2 x 3 Ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon with 4 gb of RAM. I have never had so many problems with a mac ever. I've got our server mounted. It shows up as an icon on the desktop but I cannot access the server from an application nor can I access the server via a finder window. The only way to access the server is to open it through the mounted drive on the desktop. Rediculous. Also, I am running all the latest updates.

haven't had one problem since installed

the only problem with leopard and adobe for me so far is the Acrobat issue.. doesn't let you print to pdf. have to distill it manually...

I have found problems with Safari.

i've had it for a while at home and haven't had any problems running the cs3 production bundle AE runs very well now, as does PS and Illy. at work though we've yet to do upgade photoshop and illy, so there's a few bumps here and there. but overall, nothing major.
the biggest problem i've run into lately was upgrading quicktime to 7.4. there's a major conflict with after effects there so i had to go back to 7.3, but no problems since.

So, does anyone know how to get your mounted servers to show up in finder? I'm starting to wonder if this has something to do with updating our server software at work.
