Ha. I saw Tarantino about three weeks ago walking into this crappy Korean restuarant in the West Village that we were walking out of. All through dinner I was trying to figure out why this restuarant had a "Pulp Fiction" poster on the wall as it didn't go with any of the decor.
Then as he was walking in as we were walking out it all made sense. From my other friends who work in and out of the restuarant industry here (waiters, line cooks) in NYC the consensus is that Tarantino likes crappy restaurants. He was with a pretty, leggy brunette though...
- I share his love of crap restaraunts. If you grow up with crap, it remains comforting and familiar.********
- crap means = you get what you pay for,
I'm totally fine with that..Drno

Saw DeathProof the other day on DVD and loved it. Cars, chicks, death, amputation. Fizzy pop for the mind.

saw it in the theater planet terror i think was the better movie, but i love zombie movies and i think rodriguez is genius... death proof started off good but seemed disjointed, it almost felt like 2 films mashed together

the paparazzi are just fucking annoying.
Im starting to think everyone in california (in this case someone may have travelled from cali. to wherever) has nothing better to do than run around with a video camera, and make shitty ass episodes of nothing, then add some Production logo on to the back
of it, only to place it on you tube. GAH.

I actually saw him going to a restaurant / bar in hollywood called citizen smith (I think) I was there w some friends and he walked in w 2 chicks, I told him I just saw grindhouse in the theater and that I loved the concept, he pushed away me with both hands, and grabbed a fork from a nearby table, and put it right next to my neck, everyone was screaming at the place, I grabbed his wrist and I said on a really low voice "you just messed with the wrong guy" so then twisted his arm manage to put him face to the bar, but his body guard grabbed me from my mullet, I then grabbed my bat and hit him right in the forehead, as he was going down, tarantino escaped, and people started to fight. While I chased tarantino to the door, these 2 guys with helmets (maybe twins) jumped from the mezzanine with old school skateboards, and got in the fight with everyone else..
As I exited the bar, tarantino was jumping in his black 1970 chevy nova with a white skull on the hood and left the scene...- So was this restaurant a crappy one as well?TheBlueOne

I saw him a few months ago, I walked along O'Connell Street and he was entering Savoy for a premiere, through the crowds. He wore a white suit and looked weirdly excited with his star role. Cocaine, I presume..

I really did meet him once, and honestly he seemed fine. Taller than he looks on screen.

I just saw his movie in Grindhouse (whatever Daeth Race thing). Wow.... what a bag of suck. WAY to much talking, not enough dying. Even my wife was pissed off!
- well its kinda supposed to suck... its an homage to b-movie sensibilities and budgets********
- Tarantino is known for having allot of dialog, that's why Tarantino fans are Tarantino fans. I enjoy his use of heavy dialoguepantone
