Yeah it looks like he's holding it up with his hand upside down. Showing a bit of the 'tube in his palm/fingers overlapping would fix that.

He won't be making any changes though, he didn't design it. it's not his logo. He just didn't have anything else to say here bar shouting about his 6 iphones and generally sounding like a cunt.

hey skt--i put this logo up for a crit b/c someone in a company that i am helping develop is doing design work, and i am not sure how i should judge the piece.
I am a web guy... things like this are not my strong point. It feels a bit too playful for what we are doing with the company but the rest of the group seems to like it.Thanks for the comments!

my 2 cents.
since it is a collab, shouldn't there be more than one character? i think the 'A' should be a second character's legs 'collaborating' with dude number one.

yeah more than one character makes sense... but i barely like having the one "Guy" in the logo. do you really think making more characters fit into the logo would work?

i think with the current font style, yes, the characters make sense.
but you could also explore solutions with a more serious feel. kinda hard to do without knowing the suspects behind collab.

Love the style ... the "mad scientist" looks pretty drunk to me.
