thanks everyone for the feedback on this logo. i've taken your advice and narrowed it down to 2 final concepts. what do you think??

the kerning on the top is weak... the bottom makes me hungry... i shouldn't be hungry right now...
... USA is way to big on the top version... the strokes and weight of the mark are unbalanced on the top version...
... and the bottom one makes me hungry.

If someone was holding a gun to my head, I guess I'd choose the bottom one, but I'm not crazy about it.

personally not crazy about the type choice on either of them.
and the iconography feels forced. you need to make it more simple.

If I should pick one it would be the buttom one but I think it needs some more work. Try making the hammer more simplified to fit the typeface.

Why are you making pdfs? Jpg is better for showing things in a browser.

The house icon on the top one is way too obscure...try just using a roof...more A-shaped. Also agree that the USA is too big. The whole logo looks imbalanced.
The bottom one - well the mallet could also do with simplifying. I find the logo difficult to read...the word 'auctions' tends to run into usa.
If I had to choose I'd pick the top one but it needs tonnes of work.- isn't it the opposite of obscure?********
