Ok, I know question like these have been asked before, good samples, good prices, good online printers, etc... BUT I am having a hard time finding a printer here in my area or state that has the ability to produce good and different business cards. By good I mean, a good variety of paper, coatings, die cutting, the whole nine yards...
I know some of you have beautiful bc designs that are not the typical 3.5x12 satin or UV coated oh! and rounded corners. I am trying to convince our client to do something interesting but I can't find a reliable printer that can do this for me...
Could you recommend a printer that has done great work for you in the past? Thanks!

I'm trying to stay away from online printers since they only offer the same (rounded corners, UV, Spot UV and satin). I'm looking for printers that can do custom stuff like this:

call up some of the smaller privately owned print shops in your yellowpages. they've got the smaller presses that are more suitable and economical to do short runs of spot-color offset jobs. avoid the bulk/online shops and any chain/franchised printers.

One of the best printers in Florida is Sandy Alexander. They certainly have the capability you're looking for, though I'm not sure if they specialize in stationery (they might be too big, but it's worth looking into).
By far, the best stationery printer in the country, in my experience, is The Ligature. They're in LA. They specialize in engraving but do everything else as well. Their work is absolutely superb.

DO NOT USE SOME MASS ONLINE PRINTER. The final product will look like shit, guaranteed. Demand drawdowns and physical proofs on the specified paper stock if you can't be there in person for a press check.

Other good stationery printers, expensive but you get what you pay for:
