I recently pulled these back out of my closet. The Nike Blazer USA “Medal Stand” made for the London Olympics. They have have been hardly worn and still look great but I had to Shoe Goo the heal of the soles back together this weekend. I was thinking how/why they have fallen apart then realized the London Olympics was 12 years ago and these shoes are now 2 years older than my youngest son!

I had these in 1990 when I was living in Colorado, snowboarding and hacky sacking my way through art school. I thought I was the coolest neo hippie slacker in the front range.
I've been wanting them to re launch these for decades and now they have finally done it!

I've been curious about the pricey Swiss engineered running shoe brand 'On'.
Tried on a pair of the Cloudswift Amp today. Nice fitting shoes with a wider toe box than usual running shoes that tend to be more pointed. Wasnt a huge fan of the thin laces that cross at 4 straight points meaning they kinda dig into your foot at those 'strap' points, whereas with other shoes laces the tightness is balanced across more points. Perhaps they could be made more diagonal when lacing up own pair or get thicker laces.
The shape of the sole makes you want to walk or run in them. The bounce is absolutely insane!
Anyone rock On's?
There's quite a range, not quite sure which ones I'd opt for.
Certainly won't be buying them at £170, will be waiting for a sale ;)

I just bought these to wear around the house and for going out for walks—they’re lightweight, soft, and have plenty of cushioning (well, I’m not getting any younger!). They only cost €44, whereas similar ones from Asics go for around €170... the prices for some models are just crazy!

the older i get the more barefoot shoes have felt an obvious transition. I've been wearing Vivo's for about 6 years now and had no injuries when running, less back ache, better posture and feel generally more flexible. The more i read into the mechanics of our feet, everything else just seems stupid. Like, why do we need MORE cushioning for something we've been naturally doing for hundreds of thousands of years?- How many concrete pavements did the sedentary office workers run on thousands of years ago?HAYZ1LLLA
