i'm having trouble importing some of my music onto a new ipod nano. for the most part it's working fine, but on a couple of albums i've imported, the songs are displayed in the correct order when i view my ipod music library through itunes, but are in the wrong order when i play them on my ipod. any suggestions as to why this is happening? and like i said, it's only on a couple of albums, so i's not set to shuffle or anything.

re-install itunes. this should fix it.

make sure you don't have "shuffle-playlists" set up on your ipod. i'm pretty sure that's your problem.
so follow this on your ipod:
ipod > settings > shuffle > off.

this always has something to do with the ID3 info. for some reason, differences in ID3 info between songs causes the two to sort differently.

Double-check that there are no trailing spaces in the ID3 tags or the file names themselves.
