I found a short description on a site a while back...:
(from my mac)
1. run your .swf file
2. ctrl click and select print
3. advance past the first dialog window
4. at the second window... lower left dropdown... “save .pdf as PostScript”
5. save as filename.ps
6. open .ps file in IllustratorBut my ps file looks like crap (all blue tones, bitmapped, no details, etc..).
Anybody know how to get this to work?
Thanks.

I finally got that working...sort of. What I'm trying to do is place all kinds of high resolution images (actually scaled to 10% of their size) in a kind of mosaic. Then I wanted to print this to a ps file and then scale it back up in illustrator (to something like 180x80 cm).
But the ps file seems to rasterize the images at the screen dpi. Anybody know of any ways around this? Or will this technique only work for vector files?
Thanks!

if your graphics in the swf are raster... then you can't get a hi-res output... they're going to be compressed when compiled into an .swf...
... only vector graphics in Flash will remain an mathematical (scalable) equation.

Thanks for the tips.
