Yes. Portable mulitrack recording. I am talking one unit. I don't care about mixing tracks, I care about being able to bounce tracks together type shit.
I know there are some portable recorders, one unit type. Have not found "multitrack", although I just want a built in mic as the only input ever. ETC.

i think 8 gig is the biggest you can get. it might even be 4 gig.

I've been using a Zoom H4 for stereo recording, but it's also a 4-track and a USB audio interface.
