Hello, despite having CS2 and 3 sat on my shelf I'm still using CS1 because FUCKING PEOPLE KEEP ASKING ME TO FUCKING DO FUCKING WORK FOR THEM. There seems to be a glitch in CS1 wherby Photoshop will just become invisible in the middle of a process and I have to force quit it and restart to get it back. This is a bit of problem because PEOPLE KEEP FUCKING ASKING ME TO DO STUFF URGENTLY ALL THE FUCKING TIME and I wonderd if anyone else had encountered this and had any suggestions.

I still use CS1 'cause I'm too cheap to upgrade and haven't had a problem with it in the 3 years I've been using it.

It takes like 5 minutes to upgrade. How long do you spend trying to fix the problem? More than 5 minutes?

Yeah, I missed out about twelve vital words from my first attempt and thought that maybe... juuuussst maybe, I could hit the back button, do it all again, and nobody would notice.

Flashbender... In my experience that's famous last words. I'll have to upG my OS too, and my peripherals will all fuck up, all hell will break loose and I'm just waiting for that gap in the work flow to do it, and have said "next month" for about the last FUCKING HUNDRED YEARS NOW. Makes me angry. I've had a busy year. I'm really completely burned out now. I have taken on one last job for 2007 and its a fucking Hellish Thing. Sorry bout the language. Very highly strung right now.

- Yeah, right now I am. I vowed to take off all of December to make for no holiday in over two years. Called all my clients, let them know. November 31st... all next year's work brought forward. I could either tell them to go elsewhere and lose them all, or suck it up like shmoe. I sucked it up and now I'm PISSED OFF.********

I've had this problem and continue to have it. With cs1 2 and 3. It's super annoying, but so far there seems to be no way around it.
I remember in cs1 tho, even though the actual interface would just disappear, you'd still see it read Photoshop up there in the top left, and you'd be able to hit command S to save your shit and close out. Now in cs2, they've upgraded the problem, so now you can't save, nor does it read Photoshop in top left. It truly disappears. It's frustrating as all hell when it happens.- Oh man, I'm glad you came along. I figured out you could still save. If the prob is now worse I'm not upgrading.********

take a deep breath, and take 30 minutes out of your day to straighten everything out. You'll feel better about it, and yourself!
