Sometimes when I close my MacBook Pro to carry it to a meeting, when I open it the thing will just not wake back up. It goes into some kind of sleep mode. Hitting the space bar, trackpad, nothing. To fix it I have to hold down the power button and hard restart. Is there a function key I should be hitting? Any ideas?
ps. It's current/up-to-date with all it's software/firmware.
Check the DFU, more than the likely the problem.
my old powerbook does that (g4) sometimes. i just close it again and open it back up and it wakes up.
My imac did that, had to verify / restore / repair disk permissions in utilities using the install disk
Known 10.5 MBP problem. Use the Appple Remote or attach an external keyboard.
