Think about it logically - all you probably need are two search terms - 'video' and ..er.. 'something else' - search all, try and remember roughly when your thread was, then go back chronologically.
Have you tried using boolean constructs in your query?
http://www.qbn.com/filter/all/al…This being a busy forum site, the public search function is not set up for complex database queries like 'search by user post', if it were, the performance would be bogged down completely.

no detritus, that didn't work.
now don't get me wrong, the boolean suggestion was good, because i didn't realize the filter doesn't AUTOMATICALLY change your search for "camera video" to "camera AND video" like google does. or actually it's "+camera +video", like you said.
but that's beside the point, because i can't remember what keywords were in the title. i am 99% sure the threads in question were active sometime between the 3rd week in January and mid-February 2008. so i had already tried that, and it didn't work. i bypassed the filter altogether. what i did was click the "next" button over and over going back to older threads but the limit is 50. which doesn't go back far enough. so if you tried the advice you gave me, you'd probably see this message.
