So I'm a hair away from closing on a loft in a converted warehouse. I'm super excited, but the thing is, is that I have hardly any non-Ikea shit to fill it up with. I'm thinking I need a new couch, but I'd like to accessorize it a bit (lamps, hangers, etc, etc.)
Any recommendations besides DWR would be... amazing.

Great links Antonelli, any more I can add to my bookmarks? I too am in the process of moving into a new condo that will have way more room for interior fun then the one I have now. The links you sent were very promising! =)

Thanks a million for the links, Antonelli. I've been sitting at the computer for three hours looking at them and emptying my checking-account.

www.unicahome.com is a good one.
www.hivemodern.comwww.roomandboard.com still has the best deals. Not all super contemporary, but certainly befitting of a loft.
Look at their couches. Very well made, a billion material options (mine is coming in black ultra suede) and a billion design options. Costs are about half of DWR or less.
Services is also super. They show up, put everything together for you (unlike Ikea, which took me weeks to assemble and there were missing parts), will resend anything with scracthes (my patio chair had a scrath on it and they sent out a guy with touchup paint and a new chair the following week - super service).
Almost all my new furniture will be coming from them.
- thanks for the tip - i've heard some really good things about r&b before, but this just sold me on it.seanhaus

A friend of mine made a great couch once out of glued together phone books. But then Stiv Bators lit it on fire at a party.

Check out the couch selection at Room and Board. Their "modern" sofa is just amazing.

love this... http://www.roomandboard.com/rnb/…
kind of has a 70's airport feel. R&B has some really classy-looking stuff.
