http://developer.facebook.com/
They have 'facebook markup' which is like a limited feature set of HTML with proprietary query wizardry built in (fql).

I've worked on a facebook app - it's not as simple as it looks

you are right, I made a facebook app today. took about an hour.

Aww for the love of fuck.
*tries not to dig even deeper hole*
The full spec of what I want will not change. It is simply an application that can be added, displays a SWF and can let you invite friends to add it.
Each of the above functionalities is, from what I have found, a modular piece of code which calls functions from within Facebook, ie once you have done it once you can use the EXACT same code for another app.
again:
Tell me if I am wrong and why.
- peeps are just having a stock reaction to your request based on previous client experience.kelpie

If my clients are on the ball and experienced they can book the exact amount of time for a project. It is not unreasonable in some cases to state how long something should take, I would think MX has enough experience to guess at a time scale.
Touchy bunch of handbag carrying tucking your ponis behind to make it look like a fanny, fannies

Scratchcards?

Oh and the manager on the project kept on going. "It's simple you can just write a vbscript or something right?" which is when I would proceed to punch him in the shnawz.
- emecks0
I hear you guys.
But come on - if I'm wrong, tell me why I am wrong. I am saying
IF you have already got the code snippets, it will only take a very short amount of time... from what I can see you wouldn't even need to change any variables in the code - just a straight copy and paste job ffs.
- linus0
lol.
Last year I was asked to be on a project for 10 days. The project stretched wasn't what it seemed and is still going and is due to go live next year March. I have since left that company... So if it takes more than an hour or two what happens?
