Hey,
I want to set up a temporary portfolio site but I dont know anything about flash or htlm.
Do anyone know of a app. I can use to set up a showcase/portfolio site which isn't to complicated to use and looks good? Preferable something adjustable, which I can apply my own design. :)
Thnx...........

You might be best to use something like a free blog or Flickr.
Apps like you describe are always going to be problematic, and designers can spot them, which doesn't reflect well. Otherwise, you're honestly better off learning some very basic HTML and building it as a real site.

worst comes to the worst, put up a nice holding image on your page with some basic contact info then have your portfolio as a PDF download.
im presuming you are a print designer so could do something pretty nice in illustrator etc and export to PDF.
this will give you something a LOT more "designed" and unique than any 'quickfix template' you could get for free and doesnt go down the same route as a blog folio like so many others or having to upload your work to flickr.

I was like you a couple of years ago. But I took the time to learn a bit of HTML. Well, how to use dreamweaver so I still don't really know too much code. Anyway I'm now on my fourth portfolio site. http://www.philipregan.com - you should have seen the first one. Hilariously bad.

I remember seeing a flash template that looks like you're flipping through a book, and you just upload pdf files for the pages...cant find the link though. I remember it costing around $299?
