what flavor said.
and I hate to say it, but v3 is right. (I mean...I don't hate to agree with him; I hate to agree with what he said).
While skirts are great sometimes, I generally respect women who wear pant suits more. Not sure exactly why. Legs can be distracting, imo. On both men and women.

But.. but.. but.. it's winter?
I can't tolerate any talk of shorts-wearing whilst I'm sitting here in London, freezing my ass off, warming myself by the exhausted warm air from my computer and laptop..

does anyone else here think that some of Bush's cronies got Kanye's mom for that whole "Bush hates white people" comment?
A lil slip of the poison maybe?

Dear flavorful: there is a big difference between the creative industry and the pharmaceutical industry.
Would people in the pharmaceutical industry get a job without some type of higher education? There are plenty of people in the creative industry lacking such credentials.
If you don't have any major client meetings, what is wrong with shorts?

Uhm ... unless you work on the beach. Yea, shorts on dudes does not scream professional.
What's next sweat pants?
flavorful

I rock shorts on fridays in the slummertime, I used to wear them all week but then we hired some jagoff that used to rock flipflops to work everyday and he fucked up my gig.

depends on the office. Even within IBM. On the west coast we all rock shorts at development labs. No one on the east coast would think of it though.

If you never see clients, there is absolutely no reason to have that strict of a dress code, unless you work at morgan stanley or some shit.

my shorts usually get trumped by someone showing up with a new tattoo on their forehead

Shorts yes, flip flops, no.
- mrdobolina0
there is absolutely no reason for anyone to see a man's toes in this day and age.

hallelujah to that.
- acescence0
pedicures are not emasculating
- mrdobolina0
sandals are for women.
- acescence0
the problem is that "sandals" and "flip-flops" are very girly words
