Anyone have links to some nice designed property development, new home, real estate web sites.
Or anything along that line.
Going to be doing 2 sites over the next couple of weeks and looking for a benchmark.
Thanks,.

there's a few "real estate" sites on design meltdown.
not sure if they're exactly what you're after but it might be a start.

Thanks. They are nice units, although I can only take credit for the site and logo. For sale, too, at preconstruction prices.
The first image on http://www.residentialniche.com is our design.

gonna be honest here, jysta- i reallu do not dig the direction you are heading in. the layoutis awkward and feels like one done quite a lot from a couple years ago. i say that now, as for this user and this client, that is not desired (given identity).
i think the layout you have will limit your content dramatically and in this situation, content should be king; the property developer wants to sell houses, not craft a fixed-format wesite.
i like the color palette and the image treatments, but if i were you- would focus on typesetting and maximizing what morsels of content/soundbites/talking points i could in a cohesive, minilmal scrolling site (but more that you curently have going) that feels cool.
cool?
awesome, cause i almost want to build a comp to explain through pictures. :)

dude, well done. honestly. the full-width banner + fully drag background is a wonderful blend. the red is striking for sure, but the content holds it's own and is well-heeled.
very nice work.
