2,4,8 for my money.
When you show your client your ideas I would limit it to just 3 designs so as not to overwhelm her from the get go. Keep on keeping on leftwave, let us know the progress.

i really enjoy 2. it has a real natural color scheme and i'm liking the mark. really nice work overall on the logos leftwave. very well done.

i'll have 6 with some gravy on it.

#2 reminds me of the Izze logo

The only one that I'm kinda feeling is #6. The mark in the O isn't working for me though. It doesn't say nutrition. if you work on a different mark inside the O I think you've got it.

^ That sounded like a client's response.

try addressing the hierarchy a bit. with a name as short and distinctive as nao you should investigate a word mark only solution with nao as the hero playing with the letter forms a bit and finding some relationships and then setting the nutrition descriptor smaller in a simple complementary typeface.

none of them are working for me. I'd keep going.

2, 3, 6 and 8 are more eye-catching to me.

it seems like you are not working concept driven. rather adapting the idea on a set of various established themes.
why not get loose from various design styles and think what you are trying to communicate?
try to get into the core of the company's identity instead of finding only a fitting style for the word nutrition.i know that won't be easy but can lead to a much more satisfying result.
example: a logo for a coffee bar doesn't need to have coffee beans in it. there's more to the culture of coffee.
