pretty cool new solo stab from mjk

NICE...the second song is...really weird. Not sure how I feel about white-boy Maynard saying "Can I get a hell yeah...". Like the first one a lot tho.

that is one trainwreck of an ugly website.

yeah, that 2nd track is a little weird. Just him f-in off though I think.

any idea what the story is behind the name Puscifer? Sounds like Lucifer...pus...devil's pus...whatever it is, I hope I never contract the disease.
I know Maynard ain't no Christian, but he better not be getting all satanic Saturday morning cartoons on me now....

V is for Vagina is the album title
Puscifer is Pu--y + Lucifer

But Urban Outfitters told me V is for V-Necks.
And what point in time should I stop wearing V-Necks, now? I actually wear a lot of these.
- gramme0
hmm.
Think I'll stick with Tool and APC.

Yeah, mellow, but nice. Should be good to drive or work to.
I just grabbed it yesterday, so I haven't given a ton of spins yet. We'll see how it holds up mid-week.

(Nov 5 07, 10:08)Yesterday. Those things made dudes look like grandpas 40 years ago, and they still do today on the hippiest of hipsters.

Yea... I have been wearing them a lot for the past few years and haven't really seen anyone else do it. Even at some of the hipsterish places I've been to in town (bars/parties).
Randomly last month, this drunk guy kept attempting to make fun of me for wearing a v-neck in which he just kept saying, "It's a v-neck! He's wearing a v-neck!"
To which I casually asked his friends if he makes any sense to them when he is sober, or is he just lacking the mental fortitude to come up with an actual put down.
They laughed and informed me that they think he is actually retarded.
That is neither here nor there though.
DAMN YOU HIPSTERS!

what's up with the satanic vagina swirl?

i enjoyed it. album seems to be a big joke in general. i love the song "sour grapes" where he seems to be preaching but the words are all about how those who claim to be enlightened aren't really.
the album artwork is quite funny as well.

thats the second worst band name ever.
after wumpscut

MJK was my least favorite part of Tool and APC. Not a big fan of this.
Anyone know if the other guys from Tool are planning on doing anything else together?

"MJK was my least favorite part of Tool and APC."
your entitled to your opinion, but seriously put the crack pipe down.
- ninjasavant0
Just not a big fan of vocals in general.
- emokid0
he can be monotonous but each member of Tool brings something very unique to the table. without all four of them together, it just wouldnt be as good.
mjk shows his range on 10,000 days though, especially the title track.

MJK has a fantastic voice, imho one of the best in modern rock. Big lungs for a little dude. Very clear and melodic. The only person I think that comes anywhere near MJK in the world of heavyish music is Serj Tankian, and the poetic quality of his lyrics SUCKS.
Now, we get into mellower climes...nobody these days can out-sing Sam Beam. Period. Shepherd's Dog continues to blow me away after daily listening for over a month straight.

I like the sluggish, methodical nature of this album. I like Drunk with Power.
Thanks for posting.
