I've just bought a logitech dual action analogue control and it just doesn't seem to work on my mac? Anyone got one?

Because there are no games to play on our Macs :(

So what would be a good console-style controller to get for a Mac? I've been buying a lot of games through Humble Bundle, but some of them just can't be played properly with keyboard/mouse/tablet.

The best controller for the Mac is a WIRED XBox 360 Controller. Driver is simple to download and works PERFECTLY with almost every game I've ever tried. It's also supported by nearly every Steam game available. Can't recommend it enough.
- I've been playing Bioshock Infinite and Batman Asylum (or whatever) with it recently.monospaced

I use the Xbox 360 wired USB controller on OS X with ^ that driver monospaced linked.
Works perfectly, I bought the latest Indie Humble Bundle and games like Brutal Legend fully utilise the gamepad.

I also use it this emulator of old video game consoles:
I found the beta somewhere, it's great.

Yeah, PS3 controller works. You can use a Wiimote with your Mac too. https://code.google.com/p/wjoy/

+1 for the PS3 controller. PS1 emulators are great too...

there's probably a driver or something you can download off logitech's site. if not there is someone's hack out there, logitech controllers are pretty popular.
