Israel is an ally as much as Taiwan is or the Kingdom of Tongo is. Israel is not responsible for the militarization of our foreign policy although to be sure the US policy begins to resemble that of Israel. As for old adversaries finally dealing with peace you only need to look at the prosperity of Ireland in the past 10 years to see that nothing works like economic prosperity. maybe the palestinians could get their act together and decide what century they are in.

Uh huh. Bush owns Iraq though, and the failure to stabalize Afghanistan after we won there. I wonder what all that Heroin money is doing coming out of Afghanistan now?
