This is why I think Ottawa is perfect.

(Oct 22 07, 19:05)not trying to be mean here, but you really need to leave Ottawa for a while to be able to say that confidently...

yes, if it's not what you expected pass the job onto me. I would love to have access to those bike trails.

(Oct 23 07, 09:16)sound advice from a fellow urban-gone-small-towner.
sometimes hard to not get wrapped up and feel the urge to convince people that small town is good.
i myself was definitely very done with the city, hussle, clubbing etc when i left.. if you're still enjoying all that then maybe not a good time to leave.
also i think you'll find k-loops ain't all that small.. if you did want rural living you'd probably still be driving in from at least 30mins outside of the city.

By the way, I have lived in Toronto too.
I plan on coming over to the U.S. more often once I graduate, but I don't see myself living there.

do it.
- brandelec0
i hear ya horton
i'm getting more up for it the more i think about it. and ur right k-town aint that small. and right now vancity's real estate is ridiculous, for a 1 bedroom condo in the city, u can get a 5 bedroom rancher by the river, mountains
im getting sick of the nightlife here anyways, this place is junk compared to other cities. little wannabe tony m's shooting up restaurants. seriously who reps vancity as a hard gangster. that's like Jaline pulling a foxy brown in ottawa
- Llyod0
ottawa sucks.
I was biking about ten years ago on some trails north of chicago and took a rest to light up a joint. When I stood up there was a buck in my path making grunting sounds . It charged and I picked up my bike and waved it around and scared it off. I have no idea why I'm typing this.

do it.
