Anyone working with Cinema 4D? I need to make a very short animation of an object changing shapes. I know how to animate something that moves or rotates, but I can't figure out how to animate something that's being matrix extruded.
Thanks.

(Oct 22 07, 07:49)I want to start with a cube or a platonic that morphs into something different and then goes back to it's original shape.
here is something along the lines of what I need: http://www.tetsoo.com/old_websit…

i think there is a morph in there but i have never used it... i would be lying if i said i did... did you look for tutorials?

CALLES
(Oct 22 07, 08:00)Yes I did. All of them involve particle dynamics, simple movements, or movement around paths. But nothing even close to what I need to do. :-(

you can animate pretty much any parameter in there just like you animate the position or scale - right-click the parameter > add keyframe.

ya you can keyframe anything pretty much so just animate the parameters your changing to get that shape...

if you have the mocca module, use the morph tag.
object manager/tags/character tags/morph
you can use the strength slider to morph from the base morph to any of your designated morph target.
