#4
however i found the last O a bit hard to read in all of them. maybe separate that out a little bit?
i like it.

actually i like #2 as well. but there is something about the that S that bothers me. maybe it's that slightly jagged bit - it seems like its not properly connected and my visual flow dies right there.

The middle one's working best for me - but it suffers a little from what the other two options do - it's still a bit scrunched up. The start and end, particularly.
I don't like the way you've compressed the Os - they don't mirror the full circles found in the D, E & S at the beginning.
the D's quite scrappy - it's not leading the word as boldly as it should. Also, it's dropped a little, so DES looks like it's fallen away and is catching up with the rest of the word.
The dots on your I and J look a bit like Playmobil penis'.
On the anti-scrunch side - I like how you've merged the G & N in 1 & 3 - it's like your making a new letter for the 'gn' sound.
Play with it a bit more and I think you'll be on to a wiener.

#2 is best. But create a more obvious differentiation b/w the end "J" and "O". Right now they bleed together a bit too much for my liking.

I like #2, and #4 but the "g" is really heavy. Try making it smaller to match the "j".

And fix the "s".

I also agree with Nairn. The "ng" part looks nice when it is blended together. However, make the other characters a bit more distinctive, particularly the "o"s.

The last three letters gave a few people the impression here of something perverted...a little too balls and stick....and head.... you know what I mean?
