I'm in a strange way disapointed because I've been following what they've been up to behind the scenes over the past couple of years and pretty much heard everything that they put onto the album. Would have been nicer to be supprised with something new. Of course, a lot of the stuff on the album has been changed, some improved but some not so much. I prefered the acoustic "crazy" sound for reckoner that thom did in a solo show. Nude on the other hand is a big improvement. It's all good IMO. The laid back sound of "House Of Cards" is my fav at the moment.

15 steps hit me right away but as i said in the other thread it usually takes a few listens for radiohead to really catch on for me. i remember ok computer thinking i had no idea why peopl thought it was genius until i listened to it a bunch more, drunk and high usually, and then it was great

The guitar riff that comes in at 41 seconds, during 15 step gets right on my nerves.

i always think RH is a good LA driving music at night
very surreal
i think its the over hype that got me ...but still good

i actually disagree with some people who say it sounds like Kid A etc. . . it seems like they're going somewhere. I like the mellow and "pretty" feel of a lot of the tracks. . . pretty, but not predictable and still bizarre, with a lot of character. It feels new to me, it's still them, but with some intangible new element.

I think it's pretty good

It started out like Amnesiac, rocked out a bit, then settled to something close to OK Computer. There were a few songs that bugged me on HTTT that I usually ended up skipping, I can listen to this one all the way through. Solid, catchy melodies throughout. It was great the first time and it's going to grow on me the way the rest of their albums did. I'm just trying not to play it out so fast. Quality release.

i likey. Reckoner is my fav song. The whole album is mellow I think, likes it uh lot..

Pretty far away from both kid A and amnisiac in my opinion. Very little electronica, cept for maybe 1-2 tracks. More like the bends but flatter. I'm not as into it as I had hoped I would be, I always LOVED their cd's, this one is just ok.

Great album in my opinion. Similar to Kid A and Amnesiac. Every song on the album is good. Great album.

i rather take it in it's own bracket and not compare... i like it period

Not good.
Sounds like Thom's solo stuff on Eraser

I only listened once through, but.
I think Thom has a formula and he just repeats it shamelessly. I hate to say this because I absolutely love everything else they put out. But his melodies are getting tired and repetitive.
With the instruments, I appreciate that they tried to use natural textures and acoustic drums more, but there are at least a dozen indie bands doing what they did here far better and 1-3 years ago.
No song hit me at all really as a great song.
i am disappointed.

I can't stop listening to Wierd Fishes/Arpeggi. I think this album is great.
It is what it needs to be.

Imagine if that is what reviews said?
"it is what it needs to be"
