As with any book full of big ideas, especially those as extreme as Ayn Rand's, there are boat loads of folks ready to gobble it up, using it to justify selfish, self-absorbed pursuit of wealth. I even felt Ayn Rand hereself took her own philosophy too far. But when looked at from a more moderate position and with a pinch of salt the ideas she lays out can teach one a lot.
That and her writing is really top-notch. Every damn sentence in those mammoth books is a well-crafted idea.
