So what if it looks like a swastika, the symbol has been for a long time before the nazis used it. In Latvia it symbolizes sun.

It is also a Hindi symbol. Hitler rotated it 45 degrees. The building sits within a square of roads and is NOT rotated.

It is one of the best promoted logos ever, Goebbels was an evil branding genius.
Interestingly, hammer and sickle or the face of Che are widely accepted symbols, even if Soviet communism victims outnumbered nazi victims by tens of millions.

you are correct about the branding [i can't believe I used that word] The color scheme, uniforms, logo, arm bands, really made a statement and reinforced the over all statement.
