just believe whatever you want to and go on with your life. sometimes i find it more annoying to hear people convince others to believe what they believe. just state your points and leave people to decide on their own.
on topic, i'd be interested to know how long the monk actually wrote the manuscript. legend says he did it in one night. we all know how time gets warped in stuff like these.
