One of my friends has her bus stop by an abandoned Hooters. Whenever someone calls her on the phone while somewhere, particularly on the bus, she always has to say, "yeah....ummm....meet me by....*muffled voice* Hooters"

Jaline, is it the downtown Hooters in ottawa? i havent been in the city for quite a while. you men to say its abandonned?
haha. i remember passing by there once and saw a 10 year old kid having his birthday party there with friends. obviously it was on of the dad's idea!

hooters food is awful. negative points to them for taking away the only halfway decent meal at the place, the chicken pasta salad.
i got a couple buddies who go there all the time.
"hey doug, want to watch the game?"

local heroes didnt really grow until i moved away. i seriously dont remember such a place before i moved to montréal. i only hear about it when i was visiting friends.
in montreal my favorite pub for games is a placed called "verres stérilisés"
the name is inviting.
