unless you got it as a bitchin tattoo on your forearm. those scorpions are cool.

Man I lived in Vegas on and off for 9 years. When I was first teaching myself design I would come home from my casino restaurant job and work on the computer till about 4 or 5...sleep...wake up, learn some more then I ALWAYS went to get a sandwich at this place next to my house and read the paper.
So this one time I was sitting at the sandwich place and I felt something in my shoe. I didn't wear socks then and I assumed that it was some hair from my golden retriever that had found it's way into my show. So I kicked my foot a bit and whatever it was made it's way to the toe of the shoe. I went home, took my shoes off and did some more work on the computer until I had to go to work.
So I get to work and I'm walking into the hotel from the parking garage and I feel that hair in my shoe again, I think to myself 'I need to get this hair out of my shoe it's so annoying.' Took another step and WHAM...pain. Yup, a fucking scorpion had been riding around in my shoe all day. I went to the emergency room where I learned that a scorpion bite is like a bee sting times 10. Won't do any serious damage unless you're allergic.

Oh and my neighbor had one climb up the side of his head while he was laying on the ground watching tv...he didn't know what it was so when he tried to brush it off it stung him in the neck.
I think we had a nest between our houses or something. Those little bastards creep me out.

The scorpions send in one ahead, as a scout. But if the scout doesn't come back they round up reinforcements and attack in force.
Probably about 10 days from now you'll have thousands under your bed, or in your underwear drawer.
Or both. Sleep well now, you're going to need to be rested.
