Man I lived in Vegas on and off for 9 years. When I was first teaching myself design I would come home from my casino restaurant job and work on the computer till about 4 or 5...sleep...wake up, learn some more then I ALWAYS went to get a sandwich at this place next to my house and read the paper.
So this one time I was sitting at the sandwich place and I felt something in my shoe. I didn't wear socks then and I assumed that it was some hair from my golden retriever that had found it's way into my show. So I kicked my foot a bit and whatever it was made it's way to the toe of the shoe. I went home, took my shoes off and did some more work on the computer until I had to go to work.
So I get to work and I'm walking into the hotel from the parking garage and I feel that hair in my shoe again, I think to myself 'I need to get this hair out of my shoe it's so annoying.' Took another step and WHAM...pain. Yup, a fucking scorpion had been riding around in my shoe all day. I went to the emergency room where I learned that a scorpion bite is like a bee sting times 10. Won't do any serious damage unless you're allergic.
