So I'm planning on driving up north to Canada, eh. - and I'm wondering what the weather will be like. I'll be driving through Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal during the first week of November. Decent weather, or snowy hell??

Shouldn't be snowing yet, but be prepared because you could get some at that time of the year.
Dress warm and bring good outerwear.

And ALWAYS look out for surprise bear attacks.

A great time of year to take a trip. It will be cool, but the good thick sweater, I'm alive kind of cold as opposed to the my God I'm going to die kind that comes a few months later.

If we're lucky it will be -4 and dumping snow instead of raining. Come on epic winter... you owe me.

I'm not sure if it'll rain much, but it's always a possibility. Actually, anything is possible. So just bring warm clothing, because it's usually chilly in November. Last Halloween was warm, but you never know.

i always find that by halloween is when i first start noticing it's getting cold (at least too cold to where a costume without a jacket) and by christmas is when we get the first snow. first snow of the year has happenend on christmas day and eve a bunch of times here. i'm east coast though (the real east coast ) and i don't recall much of toronto's nov. but rain shouldn't be a big deal you just notice it more when it's already getting cold out. the snowy rainy hell is saved for jan - mar.

Yeah, January is the worst. I remember I had to write an exam once during that month and it was the worst snowstorm in a long while. I was extremely late b/c I had to trudge through feet of snow, but luckily had enough time to finish the exam.
