Flock seems to be the best answer. I've tried, over the past few weeks: Omni web, Safari, Flickr, Camino, amongst others. Flock seems to stand out. Anyone else tried it lately?

I meant firefox, not flickr - thats what I'm doin now!

i agree, flock is great! (use it since safari is crashing like hell)

just spent the last two days on flickr though, and just thought 'why bother' so am deleting stuff now!

Still use Firefox...

blurrrrrrrrgggghhh dont like it, just crashed every hour

Why use Flock? Same rendering engine as Firefox (and Mozilla and Camino, for that matter)?

Camino has a really awkward way of adding feeds to google reader. Firefox crashes atleast once a day. Flock also has the blog thing and the flickr thing, it's only crashed once this week too!

Fair enough. I don't blog or use Flickr or anything like that, so it doesn't really hold any appeal to me. :\ I've moved away from Firefox, too. Still go to it for the development extensions, but I'm quite happy with Camino, though I've been waiting for it to fully mature for a looong time.

i keep crashing no matter what.

I tried Camino but quickly got frustrated with the lack of support for it. FF is better, and doesn't crash that much (although I hear it does often for other people). I'm a recent Mac convert (for my home computer anyway) so I already find the lack of support and/or programs for it frustrating for some of the things I want to do.

What sort of stuff are you wanting to do with Camino, Jaline? I think it's pretty crap for development, but I don't have any problems with day to day browsing.
- Jaline0
Yeah, development I guess. I don't do it much, but I wanted to see what kind of plugins were available too. I'm going to stick with FF until I get more consistent reviews.

whats so great about flock? i saw it when it was first releasd (iirc), just looked like a rehashed version of firefox.

This is the place to go for Camino plugins, but it certainly doesn't match the volume and usefulness of the Firefox extensions. On the other hand, I find Camino to run quicker on my old PowerBook than Firefox.
