I want to use my old mac laptop as my music station... but want to have it shut and just power my flat screen... is that possible? where are the settings for that type of this...

did you try connecting your external screen and close the lid?
go to your Screen setting and just mirror it?
i know you can use apple script to use only external
i mean thats what i do with my pbp but its a recent one so i dont know how old ones would work
