Saving Photoshop CS3 to CS2?

A client of mine is having issues opening Photoshop files I sent over to him. He says when he tries to open the files he gets an error that states there will be "missing information" from certain layers.
It doesn't look like there is an option to save to CS2... just kinda confused as to what I should do. I never ran into this problem using the CS3 BETA version...

If you can, try saving as a layered TIFF file. It might bypass the problem rather than solve it, but it could get you where you need to be. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what you can do other than flatten all that can be flattened.

have you google'd?

just check optimize file compatability in you pref dialog, and it saves psd files that can be opened by most versions

more specific, in file handling pref, set the box marked: "maximize psd and psb file compatability" to ALWAYS, and most versions including cs2 will handle it fine

epigraph... So basically, after I make this change, I would need to resave the PS files?

yeah if you saved them without that option the first time....
I work at a place using photoshop 7 on 800mhz G4s, so I bring my MBP and use cs3.
I have no compatabillity issues...
