is there a way I can see who is on my computer/connected to it? I went to restart the other night and it said, "are you sure you want to restart there is one person connected to your computer" and i know none of my computers were connected to it...kind of freaked me out.

Oh, don't worry about that. That was just the FBI checking on your porn.
Well, maybe you should call your lawyer.

Interarchy FTP client also has a traffic monitor

you might want to use an access control list by MAC address (in your router setup), and only turn that function off when you want to allow a guest to connect. You can make firewall exceptions for all your services that need to get through, but this is totally seperate to 'connected users'.

you can also use Airport client manager to see connections. additionally in Finder go to:
Go>Network>Servers
and you will see all machines with a *visible* MAC address there.

Applications > Utilities > Network Utility
click on "netstat" tab
click "display state of current socket connections" and then the netstat button

little snitch...
is a app that monitors anything trying to connect in or out of your machine, including installed apps.
It blocks any traffic until you allow it.
