Which do you prefer and why? I used to love Firefox but it eats up my CPU so bad that I have recently switched to Opera. There are a few small things to get used to but overall I am starting to like it better, it seems faster and doesn't take up much CPU.

I never liked opera. They always claimed it supported more technologies than it did. JS sucked on it for long time and even now some AJAXy Flash things on it are a tad difficult to achieve.
It is a good browser, but I just can't convince myself. Also, on the mac, it often positions its window weirdly, with tabs below the system top menu strip and I cannot access them. Only way to reposition it is to change screen resolution for a second.
Camino is good, just between firefox and safari.

Firefox, seems fine on my machine.

I am an Opera convert too. Once you get used to having tabs above the address bar, going back to Safari/Firefox feels odd.
The "magic wand" login/form filling is wonderful, and the Speed Dial (9 homepages in one) is great. http://www.opera.com/support/tut… Plus, full screen browsing and mouse gestures are built in. (Of course, there are FF plugins for most of these features, but they really slow my Intel Mac down.
I love Opera. I couldn't go back now.
