probably not as good as TypeTool. I tried FM and it's difficult to manage the points/zoom. but as you said you only needed something free to export your beziers i decided to link it.

(I tried following the instructions but it looks like you need an engeneering degree just to start it, I haven't even seen how it looks like)

yeah, sourceforge is the place to find free apps. support is meager though. user friendliness often disappointing as well..
have you tried looking on the various type messageboards?

I'll second Typetool, it's not FREE (what is ?), but you can copy + paste your vectors from AI to Typetool and export a font. Cool!

2- Results will be shared for free. won't make a dime out of it.
3- All the work is done, I can justify spending 99 bucks when everything is finished in illustrator (I don't care for an editor, just some sort of extension that will let me export it)
3 reasons why I'm looking for something more economic.
