not 3.

i'd say 2 :)

I quite like the 1st concept. Putting your shadows in the right place would help though...

I like where 3 could go - 1 & 2 are too empty and straggly for me. Perhaps also too-literal an interpretation of a website for an architect, with the building blocks and space.
3 seems more 'informationally architected', though does still need some work to give it life.

Ranking:
1
2
3 (don't go with this one)

Not 3. 2 or 1.
Have you tried losing the drop shadows completely in 1?

I'd work with number 2.
See LSD thread for reviews of number 3.

i liked the 3rd image on the first set but i didnt like the drop shadows...id replace the drop shadows with lens flares, then its set to go.

2 and 3 are the strongest I'd develop them more, one is fully rad but not for the company you are working for.

Definetly work on 2. That one is the most interesting. 1 seems a bit empty...3 has very interesting concept, but might be too odd to navigate through.
2 looking good so far!

i like where 3 is going... maybe tone it down a tad but i likes...!
for an architecture company large images of their work and what they do would be nice to see throughout the site. 1 and 2 are plain and don't really show much tbh...

i like concept1. just make the shadows look Not so photoshoppy.

2 is working best for me, but I agree about the colours perhaps tone them down to a more muted palette!

I agree with #2 as your current strongest design. I'm not convinced that a 3-d interface is inappropriate, however I think you could be a lot more inventive with it...think like if your interface is a bulding, what would it look like? What would it look like if that building is taken apart? What conceptual references to architectural construction can be made through the 2-d medium of interface? I'm sure you've already been asking these questions, but maybe there's another way of executing it.

2 or 3 get my vote.

i like c1 menu + c2 full project display (c2 menu not so nice as c1's)
concept 3 is interesting too, but nav is not immediate.
imho.

I think number 1 is the most interesting. Like skt said, make sure your shadows are consistant. Maybe look at the gid a little more as it looks a bit 'gappy'
