So I crack open a bottle of my first batch of home brew beer last night.
I probably could have saved myself a few months of waiting by just mixing some yeast and water and drinking it. But that was the lager, still need to try the conditioned ale I have in the closet.

a friend of mine has been brewing for about 3 years now - he's practically a pro. he has moved onto "all grain" home brews (ie: no liquid extracts).... it's good to have friends like him.
- that is the kind of person i would give my organs to, if he needed them... without ever knowing them. :)madirish
