haha, true, except the fact that I wear orange on St. Paddy's Day might cool their affections toward me by a smidge.

I'd answer this question how I always do - but, ach't - Chossy beat me to it.
'Iona'. My favourite-ever girl's name.
Whatever you do - please don't just plump for a biblical name - they're getting a bit overused after 2000 years - think Windows fonts and inappropriate usage.

My wife is called Nanette.
Never met another Nanette before so it's pretty rare.
And I once dated a French Au pair named Fanny.
True story.

Lots of good ones here...lots of um...interesting ones too.
My pet peeves with names are crazy spellings. My wife is the manager of a Picture People, and she is always telling me about some really out there spellings. Like Pertrisha...love it!
Anyway we are at a stalemate right now. I like Evelyn, but she hates Cursive capitol E's. She Loves Ruby, but I hate it. I like Sophia, But she wants sophie
On it goes...

"Pertrisha"?
I take it that's some horrific southern phonetic spelling?

Depends on your surname too, the two have gotta sound nice together.
Unlike Mr & Mrs Peacock, who had a baby boy and called him Drew.
I shit you not.
