(Aug 8 07, 23:28)hahaha r u serious?? #1?? pizza by the slice?? lol.
frtiz is ok, but in no way is good enough to make you pay them a visit if you're vacationing here. Hell, I wouldn't even walk 3 blocks to get some fries there.

Serious as a poutine induced heart attack. Numero Uno and Fritz is a VanCity standard for soakin' up boooze at 3am. When in Rome...

Take a day and go up to Whistler, you won't regret it.

Someone kidnap me to Vancouver. At least for the Olympics.

We're emigrating to BC...I'm pushing for Vancouver...but my wife has relations in Victoria...
Granville Island is ace! Take the pop pop boat across to Yale town...its getting a bit trendy but there are a few gems still left to be discovered. There is a cool little Chinese place just across from the junction of Davies and Homer....enjoy!

zOMG, I wanna go to Vancouver now!
well, I know I'll be up in the mountains around there for some snowboarding this winter... I've never snownoarded, err, snow-anything before in my life. If that part doesn't work out, hope there's some strong bourbon, hot chicks and hot tubs in the lodge.

Deep Cove is nice. Don't bother with the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Lynn Canyon (with bridge as well) is nicer & not as overrun with tourists (oh AND free!)
Afghan Horsement has great Afghani food & you can sit on the cushioned floor to eat.
Guu rocks.
Anton's for massive amounts of cheap pasta in Burnaby is worth a quick drive from downtown Van.
Oh, and DAISO at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond. Everything is $2.
I miss Vancouver.
Living in Edmonton sucks.

hey arthur i'd seriously look into my suggestion for san juans ferry to victoria, then ferry over again to vancouver from victoria.. or better yet nanaimo-vancouver which can be a gorgeous ferry ride and will drop you right into the mountains of vancouver and/or partway to whistler.
