I am pretty psyched. I was going to be in Mexico and catching the game down there but my plans got changed so I'll be at my local spot catching it with all the crazies!

* Sniff.
I wanted to see Ronaldo play against Arsenal. :,(
Hopefully he comes to MLS now next year so I can finally pick a team to start following! And by follow I mean until he doesn't play for them anymore.
So sad to see him get plagued with so many injuries.
I usually get a lot of guff for calling him the best footballer ever (mainly because he has been my favourite, haha) but I really think he was.
- best footballer eh? maybe the gayest footballer ever. But so sad to see him injured. Never liked him btw.cosmo

I hope it's not career threatening. Even if it's not I fear he will never get back to where he is now. Knee ligaments are pretty iffy

I'm glad after the uproar here, haha.
Now I guess I just have to make a pilgramage.
Wait a second ... that would be hilarious. An NT Arsenal Pilgrimage, hahah.

My girlfriend told me in the car yesterday that she heard Ronaldo was injured and out for the season. I was so fucken delighted until I got home and found out it wasn't that gimp bastard from Portugal.

GUNNNNEERRRRSSSSS...

What are the odds on this match ending 5-1? I rather fancy an in-game bet.

3-0 and without ronaldo. i am a gunner to the core but man utd (vomit) have all the answers (vomit). don't know who i hate more, gunners performance of espn's comentary.
We really miss sagna and clichy. we're route 1 football without their attack on the wing

4-0? what the fuck is going on with this game?
- emokid0
there has to be be a rational explanation for this, right?

they also didn't have giggs, arsenal were like a championship side.. but there still a great team when they play... fabree!!
Plus Ronaldo (AC Milan) One of the Greatest, In the Barcelona days!!! Legend!.. but now there is Messi!!!

Glad Nani made well the work of Ronaldo, 2 assists + 1 goal!

Poor eduardo. a red card isn't enough for martin taylor, he should get at least 6 months suspension. Season is over for eduardo, broke his ankle.
I hope he is doing alright.

and that over shadows walcott's first goal and double in the premiership.

That tackle could quite easily of just been like any other... sad that it wasn't, but don't really understand where you can come up with six months? I'm sure he feels bad enough

I agree, sad outcome from a late, but not malicious, challenge. Good to see wenger's retracted his statement...

On a lighter note, go Torres!! ;)

OMFG, that injury has got to be one of, if not the most horrific I have ever seen. In fairness to Taylor, there was nothing malicious about it and I'm glad Wenger has retracted his initial statement. For those who didn't see it you can see the injury here:
but I warn you horrific doesn't quite do it justice. Even as a Tottenham fan I wish him a full recovery, though I fear he will never play again.
