The Bourne Redundancy...
...
... it was okay... solid action... but a little too bumbling on the action camera from time to time... lots of blurred motion... rough on the eye/brain connection on a big theater screen...
... story: C+ (was the same damn story again...'who am I? and who's the next 'big guy' in the command chain?')
... action: A
... overall fun: B... worth the trip and the cost of a matinée... something you could take Dad to...

I am here, 5timuli :)
I watched this last night and thought it was awesome. One of my favourites of the summer. It was cheesy and you definitely had to suspend your disbelief for most of the film, but at the same time it was better than most of the other cheese that came out this summer (*ahem DIE HARD).
There were lots of issues I had with it, which PixelSurgeon: http://pixelsurgeon.com/reviews/… does a good job of explaining, but I really liked how the girl didn't stay with him this time and how Matt Damon really can be a decent actor.

Also, I may have liked this better since I missed most of the first film and only caught the bad parts of the second film (mostly revolving around the girl he liked in the second film). I'm sure I would've liked the first one too, but for now the 3rd is my favourite.

Richard Chamberlain one was AWESOME. You guys don't know what you're talking about.
Bourne Identity was never about having superman spy kicking ass around and killing. Richard Chamberlain played it perfectly in the original movie. He was confused, knew how to survive and kill when pressured yet he didn't know why he could do all those things. I mean Matt Damon? for fuck sake...the guy has 5' and a desire to grow up.
I don't know..I guess the first Bourne remake (the first part) was ok, but the other two were just classic Hollywood money milking. The third one was absolutely the same as the second one, except this time we have a skinnier CIA head guy and now suddenly Tredstone (the big mistery in first movie) becomes a part of something bigger like Blackbriar? Right..It's a joke really..

i like it - great spy story, neatly crafted scenes and sequences. The first movie is a classic imo.
and fuck these wise guys making youtube gags with windows movie maker.
- Meeklo0
I have no seen the chamberlain movie, would rather check that out than the new damon's in the theather.
that movie just didn't cut it for me.
the departed, well that one I really liked. not sure if I would consider a classic just yet, but it was very good!
- emokid0
i liked it. a lot. probably as good as the first one. the second one was just alright though.

Really loved it. I love how close the camera gets. Very lean and knuckley feel to it. I like the Bourne character more than Bond as a spy franchise. Character has more depth, and room to grow.
