I recently layed out a book for Philly library for the blind. It was for a blind artist exhibition. (interesting stuff btw)
Anyway they had us insert braille pages that described what was going on on each page, and my interest was piqued.
I was wondering if anyone has designed for the blind before, or even specializes in it? Is printed material for the blind designed to appeal to the rest of their senses, or do they just have to settle for text?

I wonder the same..do you think they light / bold / neue / itallic versions of their braile alphabet?

do you think they worried if the brochure was sent to the printer in RGB instead of CMYK?

I think some really nice textured papers would feel nice.
Really... it offers you some interesting design production possibilities. Think about how paper feels when you close your eyes - the weight, texture, grain. That should be an interesting project to work on.

interesing deffenetly.
and you would look sophisticated when showing your portfolio to a client and then..excusem me, before you see my next project, I would like you to wear this over your eyes.
