you want to use an old pair of my chaps for the test?
:)
- k0na_an0k0
and i don't even own a motorcycle.
:)

I'd rather not have the smell of sweaty balls distract me from the test! LOL
What I WOULD want to borrow is someone's goddamned motorcycle for the test. Nobody will loan me theirs and evidently you need to provide the bike yourself - clever system huh, you have to arrive on a bike without a license...

I watched a guy pull up on an R-6 to take his road test and failed! He then went wheeling down the parking lot at the DMV.
check craigslist, people have DMV test bikes for rent all the time, get something small like a 125 shadow.
The best way to do it however is to take the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course and when you're done w/ that you get a certificate that clears you of the dmv riding requirements.

or show up on this and ring the bell on the handlebars when you're ready.

HAhahaha, Vespas don't have bells you cunny funt. I do actually own two vintage scooters... but none of them were manufactured after color TV was invented - I'd be seriously nervous trying to pass a braking test...or even maintain balance at low speed without putting the foot down.

Thanks fortified - I'm in Sweden though, people aren't as friendly lending out their gear here :(

LOL! Holy crap, that bike is totally murdered out!

Get a rental 125 Honda...and if i 'member correctly the hardest part is the slooooow ride. Point A to B in OVER one minute..no foot dabs and must stay in the lines...best advice here...cook the clutch...have it in the whole time and just feather it out to keep you moving...use a bit of rear brake to keep it under control...best of luck!

by the way, that's exactly what my wife is doing. today's the last day of the class, which is spent mostly testing.
around here the MSF test is tougher than the DMV test, plus you've been coached for 10 hours. that gives you a good leg up on hitting the road safely.

even seasoned riders will learn something from the MSF course. I had been riding pretty much since I could walk, but took this course a few years ago when I got licensed in Ca. and learned a ton from it. I consider myself to be a safer rider now - knock on wood.

jox just start a new topic:
