Are there any interior designers here? ;) Has anyone ever used faux brick for interior walls? Is it worth it? Any suggestions? Ideas? Thanks!
Here's what I am talking about...

I find it hard to imagine how good it could look. I guess these days the quality of what you get is so good it would be difficult to tell without close inspection.
the only time I think I've seen it used is when Charlie Sheen decorates his appartment in the film Wall St.

I've never seen these kinds of panels (look a little weird), but i have seen actual brick used. Not the entire brick, but imagine shaving the top 1/2 inch of, and attaching them to plywood with grout. You migh look into that. It would be "real" afterall, if that's the look you want.

Haha yea, Wall $treet is immediately what I thought of too.

I've used veneer facade stones before. I would recommend them too. Takes longer but looks really nice. You just stick them on with screen lathe and thinset.

well, I saw them used at a house once, they looked real, and yes, they are only about 1/2 inch wide.

I haven't used them on an interior project, but I've seen them used on exteriors...you would never be able to tell the difference, if you want a real brick look, that would be the way to go. If you want it to look less "perfect," the contractor could do a soft wash that would leave some extra grout residue behind.
