What's the easiest way to transfer files from a PC to a Mac?
I have an external HD from Western Digital, and on their website it says that the newer version of the Mac OS should be fine to transfer files to and from a PC.
Still, would I have to update or install something?
Also, is networking an easier method (I usually find this to be slow between PCs though)?

By the way, I mean about 60GB worth of files.

I took a HD out of an old pc and put it in an external case with USB/Firewire, everything works fine. Its really easy...it just pops up on the desktop.

my 5gb drive has no problems. and since your drive was formatted on a pc, there shouldn't be much of a, if any, problem.

Jack, I have to organize first :)

if the PC has gigabit ethernet, it shouldn't take long if you want to transfer over a network.

If its formated in MS-DOS fat 32, it should work fine from PC to MAC.

if it's pc format, it works on both
if it's mac formatted (HFS+) then windows doesn't get it...
should be fine
