Anyone know of a way to revert a saved .psd to the previously saved version?
I accidentally saved a cropped version, and lost all my work.

can't you go back in the history palette while it is still open?

as long as it hasn't been closed just go to the top of your history if you don't have enough steps saved back to the cropping

that's the problem, I saved it without knowing and closed... was expecting to say 'no' when it prompted to save, but it didn't give me the option.
Ctrl+S and Crtl+D are way to close together.

FYI, you can revert past the history steps under the file menu.... though that doesn't help me in this case

can you move the layers? sometimes the full layers are still present beyond the canvas in PSD files...

*knows, didn't make the mistake :/

very true, if it was a canvas size crop you're good, a selection crop you're fuggered

yeah, it left some stuff intact, but removed most... it was a selection crop.
ki-ripes. what a fuck-up.
I even tried some industrial-grade file recovery software (stellar pheonix)... i guess photoshop obliterates everything behind it, cause there was no recovering.
